Shower more, bath less

Shower

Take one less bath a week. Or switch to showering as a rule, with just the occasional bath.

According to the Environment Agency, a 5-minute shower uses about a third of the water of a bath – so you can save 50 litres every time. (Although power showers can use more water than a bath in less than 5 minutes.)

Even Jennifer Aniston is switched onto this, showering for only three minutes a day and even brushing her teeth while in the shower! She made this move after realizing that every two minutes we spend in the shower uses as much water as a person in Africa uses for everything in their life for a whole day — drinking, bathing, cooking, and cleaning…everything!
